About Rebecca
Rebecca Jaimes is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides care to adults, adolescents and children. She has clinical experience working at elementary schools, university outpatient clinics, medical hospitals, and private practices. Rebecca brings authenticity, warmth and care to her work with clients. She is grounded in a person-centered approach that focuses on the client’s capacity to grow in their ability to build self-awareness, empowerment and meaningful change.
Rebecca has experience working with a wide range of concerns but specializes in the following:

● Neurodivergent affirming care
Rebecca is also a Play Therapist who specializes in working with children and their families through developmentally appropriate, evidence-based Child Centered Play Therapy. Play is a child’s first language, and is their natural form of communication. Rebecca creates a safe and nurturing space that promotes communication and processing on their own terms. Her work focuses on building the child’s self-trust, emotional awareness, resiliency, and positive coping skills. Rebecca also works closely with caregivers to provide processing and teach strategies to support them in their parenting journey. She has a specialty in working with children who have chronic or terminal illnesses, children on the autism spectrumand helping children build a greater sense of self worth or self esteem.
